Ingredients

  • 1 jar (16 oz) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup crushed Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • 1 cup mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to cake mix instructions.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Add the remaining cake batter on top of the peanut butter layer.
  7. Sprinkle crushed and chopped Reese’s on top.
  8. Melt butter and mix with heavy cream; drizzle over the cake.
  9. Bake according to cake mix instructions until a toothpick comes out clean.
