A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with creamy avocado and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar.
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bread
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- In a bowl, mash the avocado and mix in mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the avocado mixture on the unbuttered side of two bread slices.
- Layer mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the avocado mixture.
- Add fresh basil leaves if using.
- Top with the other two bread slices, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

- Use your favorite type of bread.
- Feel free to add other toppings like tomatoes or spinach.
