  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add melted butter and mix well.
  4. Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in milk and chocolate chips if using.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing into squares.
