Description

Delicious Twinkie Strawberry Shortcake Cups made with fresh strawberries and whipped topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (13.5 oz) Hostess Twinkies
  • 3 cups fresh Driscoll’s strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Domino granulated sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip Original, thawed
  • 1 bottle (20 oz) Smucker’s strawberry syrup

Instructions

  1. Slice the Hostess Twinkies in half lengthwise.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In serving cups, place half of a Twinkie at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of sweetened strawberries on top of the Twinkie.
  5. Spoon some Cool Whip over the strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Drizzle strawberry syrup on top before serving.
