  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with milk and strawberry puree.
  6. Pour the batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
  9. For buttercream, beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar.
  10. Mix in strawberry puree, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  11. Frost cooled cupcakes with strawberry buttercream.
