- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup strawberry jello mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix yellow cake mix, strawberry jam, strawberry jello mix, vegetable oil, melted butter, eggs, and buttermilk.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Spread the remaining strawberry jam over the batter.
- Pour the rest of the batter on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, strawberry jam, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cake once it cools.
