- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Fold in the diced strawberries.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Spread the strawberry jam over the cooled cake.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with strawberry gelatin powder.
