- Thick slices of Brioche or Challah Bread
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 cup Fresh Strawberries (diced)
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
- Whipped Cream
- Maple Syrup or Strawberry Syrup
- Extra Fresh Strawberries (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in diced strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Dip bread slices into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the coated bread until golden brown on both sides.
- Spread the cream cheese filling between two slices of French toast.
- Dust with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream.
- Drizzle with syrup and garnish with extra strawberries.
Notes
- Use Texas toast for a thicker option.
- Feel free to add more strawberries to the filling.
