- 1 cup milk (almond milk or oat milk for dairy-free)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the sliced strawberries evenly in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
- In another bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, and salt.
- Pour the cake batter over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
