Delicious strawberry cheesecake dessert tacos with a sweet and creamy filling.


Ingredients

  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (cornstarch slurry)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter.
  4. Dunk each tortilla in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  5. Shape tortillas in a taco mold and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. In another bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch slurry.
  9. Cook strawberry mixture over medium heat until thickened.
  10. Fill taco shells with cheesecake filling and top with strawberries.

  • Allow the cheesecake filling to chill for a bit before serving.
