- 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
- 1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced or cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- ¾ cup (180 ml) whole milk
- 1¼ cups (125 g) grated parmesan cheese
- Optional: chopped parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, extra black pepper
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned. Remove from pan.
- Add butter to the same pan. Sauté onions and mushrooms until soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and whole milk. Stir to combine.
- Add parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
- Return steak to the pan and combine with sauce.
- Toss in cooked spaghetti and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with optional parsley and crushed red pepper flakes.
