Description

Steak & Blue Cheese Rigatoni Bake is a creamy, savory dish that combines tender steak and rich blue cheese with pasta.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steak and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, and stir in blue cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Add the cooked rigatoni and seared steak to the skillet. Mix well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese and dried oregano.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
