- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- 6 sheets phyllo pastry (cut in half lengthwise to make 12 sheets)
- ¼ cup melted butter or olive oil (for brushing)
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the feta cheese, ricotta cheese, and thyme leaves.
- Lay a sheet of phyllo pastry on a flat surface and brush with melted butter or olive oil.
- Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of the phyllo and roll tightly.
- Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with more melted butter or olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey and red chili flakes. Heat until warm.
- Drizzle the chili honey over the baked rolls before serving.
