Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cups (220 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (40 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (150 g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100 g) packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (90 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (50 g) mini marshmallows
- 1/3 cup (60 g) marshmallow fluff (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and marshmallow fluff if using.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For softer cookies, slightly underbake them.
- Adjust the amount of marshmallows to your preference.
