Delicious Louisiana Voodoo Fries inspired by Wingstop.
Ingredients

- 26 ounces frozen French fries (or homemade fries)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper (or black pepper)
- 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning powder (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (divided)
- 8 ounces white cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
- Prepare the fries according to package instructions or make homemade fries.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour until smooth and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add the milk while whisking continually.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens.
- Add salt, white pepper, ranch seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder to the sauce.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve the fries topped with the cheese sauce and sprinkle remaining cayenne powder on top.
Notes
- Adjust the ranch seasoning to your taste.
- For extra spice, add more cayenne powder.
- Use homemade fries for a fresher taste.
