  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme (optional, for garnish)
  • Flaky sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet. Press it out to fit the pan.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt and herbs if using.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
