Ingredients

- 12 oz (340g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 oz (280g) mushrooms, sliced (cremini or button)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
