Description

A simple and tasty crockpot recipe for meatball subs.


Ingredients

  • 32 ounces frozen meatballs (beef or turkey)
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for toasting)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place frozen meatballs in the crockpot.
  2. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  3. Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the crockpot.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Once cooked, scoop meatballs into hoagie rolls.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Optionally, toast the rolls with butter before serving.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
