- 14 oz crushed tomatoes (Cento San Marzano)
- 0.5 oz flat-leaf parsley (freshly chopped)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2.2 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
- 2 tsp onion powder
- Spray oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 5.2 oz pepperoni (coarsely chopped)
- Sauce of your choice
- 6 wraps (large, about 10-inch diameter)
- 7.05 oz shredded low-fat mozzarella (Belgioioso)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat spray oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, parsley, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the mixture until heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped pepperoni.
- Place a wrap on a clean surface and spoon some filling onto the center.
- Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Roll the wrap tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Repeat with remaining wraps and filling.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Notes
