Description

Crispy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a delicious and satisfying snack or meal option. They are packed with flavorful ingredients and are easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes (Cento San Marzano)
  • 0.5 oz flat-leaf parsley (freshly chopped)
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2.2 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • Spray oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 5.2 oz pepperoni (coarsely chopped)
  • Sauce of your choice
  • 6 wraps (large, about 10-inch diameter)
  • 7.05 oz shredded low-fat mozzarella (Belgioioso)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat spray oil over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, parsley, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook the mixture until heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped pepperoni.
  7. Place a wrap on a clean surface and spoon some filling onto the center.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  9. Roll the wrap tightly, tucking in the sides.
  10. Repeat with remaining wraps and filling.
  11. Place the rolls on a baking sheet.
  12. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
