- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Slice the onions into thick rings.
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and buttermilk together.
- Dip each onion ring in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the coated onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
