Description

Creamy Lemon Squares are a refreshing dessert with a tangy lemon filling on a buttery graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 24 squares graham crackers
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 can (12oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, graham crackers, and sugar.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, and lemon juice until smooth.
  6. Pour the lemon filling over the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
