Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, whisked
- 1 1/2 Tbsp active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, measured then sifted
- 16 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Warm the milk slightly and mix with yeast and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add eggs, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, cream cheese, cinnamon, and sugar evenly.
- Roll tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased pan.
- Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use room temperature ingredients.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for better texture.
- Adjust sugar and cinnamon to taste.
