Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk (or a plant-based alternative)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix crumble topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Fill muffin cups with batter about 2/3 full.
- Sprinkle crumble topping over each muffin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store muffins in an airtight container.
- For added flavor, use different spices in the crumble topping.
