- 5 Apples
- ½ c brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c flour
- ½ c white sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¾ c milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- In a bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine flour, white sugar, baking powder, and milk.
- Pour the batter over the apples in the baking dish.
- Dot the top with butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream.
- Adjust sugar based on apple sweetness.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
