  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, 1 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine self-rising flour, granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the cobbler mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
  5. In a saucepan, mix 1 cup brown sugar with hot water to create the sauce.
  6. Pour the sauce over the cobbler mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
