Description

Cajun Deviled Eggs with a spicy twist.


Ingredients

  • 6 boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon creole mustard or grainy
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped sweet pickle or pickled relish
  • Chopped scallions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel the boiled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  3. Add mayo, creole mustard, creole seasoning, hot sauce, and sweet pickle to the yolks.
  4. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  6. Garnish with chopped scallions.
  7. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Adjust hot sauce to taste for more or less spice.
  • Can be made a day in advance.
