  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, cubed or shredded (optional)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, apple, cranberries, nuts, and red onion.
  2. If using, add the cheddar cheese to the mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise or yogurt, apple cider vinegar, honey, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
