- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and sliced bell peppers. Cook until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in uncooked jasmine rice, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
