Make perfect poached eggs in your air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 egg fresh; cold or room temperature
- 2 tbsp water per ramekin
- cooking spray or oil to grease ramekin
- salt & pepper to taste, for serving
- everything bagel seasoning optional
- chili flakes optional
- chopped parsley or chives optional garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
- Grease the ramekin with cooking spray or oil.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water to the ramekin.
- Crack the egg into the ramekin carefully.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the ramekin with aluminum foil.
- Place the ramekin in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes for a runny yolk.
- Remove the ramekin from the air fryer and let it sit for a minute.
- Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
Notes
- You can adjust cooking time for firmer yolks.
- Use fresh eggs for the best results.
