Description

Easy-to-make appetizer with taco-seasoned beef, cheese, and ranch dressing in crispy phyllo cups.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, with juices
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo cup shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chiles to the beef. Stir well.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Place phyllo cups on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon beef mixture into each phyllo cup.
  7. Top each cup with grated cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
  9. Drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.
