A creamy and savory dip made with mushrooms and cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and thyme or parsley.
- Stir in the cooked mushrooms and garlic.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with chips or bread.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Can be made ahead of time and baked before serving.
