Description
A flavorful dip combining the sweetness of cranberries with the heat of jalapenos.
Ingredients

- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 5 green onions (thinly sliced)
- 1 jalapeno (seeded and finely minced for less heat)
- 1 cup sugar (I use Dixie Crystals)
- 12 oz fresh cranberries (for best color and flavor)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 (8 oz) packs cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- crackers for serving (such as Ritz or Wheat Thins)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, cumin, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in cranberries, jalapeno, cilantro, and green onions.
- Transfer to a serving dish and chill for at least one hour.
- Serve with crackers.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeno for desired heat level.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
