A flavorful dish combining spicy Cajun-seasoned chicken with a creamy honey butter sauce served over pasta.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
- Reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until browned and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes. Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and heavy cream, simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss well, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin the sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less heat.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if desired.
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
