- ½ cup self-rising flour
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons banana extract (optional)
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, self-rising flour, butter, oats, and pecans for the topping.
- In another bowl, combine the self-rising flour, sugar, milk, banana extract, and melted butter for the filling.
- Add the sliced bananas to the filling mixture and stir gently.
- Pour the filling into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

- Serve warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
