Delicious Snickers Chocolate Chip Cookies with a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt, optional and to taste
  • 1 heaping cup Snickers, diced small
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced Snickers and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container.
  • Can substitute Snickers with other candies.
  • For chewier cookies, do not overbake.
