  • 6 garlic cloves (minced, or 1.5 tsp garlic powder in a pinch)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (adds depth and umami)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (for a subtle smoky flavor)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or rosemary for a fresh twist)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt (plus more to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place beef, potatoes, and garlic in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour melted butter, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper over the ingredients.
  3. Stir to combine.
