Description

A delicious and easy slow cooker casserole that combines cinnamon rolls and French toast.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (each 12.4 oz), icing reserved
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Grease the slow cooker with butter.
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls. Gently stir to combine.
  5. If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until set.
  7. Drizzle reserved icing over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with additional maple syrup if desired.
