Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dessert bar combining raspberry preserves, coconut, chocolate, and pecans on a graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 and 2/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 cups sweetened, flaked coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup seedless raspberry preserves
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup white baking chips
  • 1 teaspoon shortening

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  4. Sprinkle coconut evenly over the crust.
  5. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the coconut.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of raspberry preserves over the milk layer.
  7. Top with pecans, chocolate chips, and white baking chips.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
