This Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake is a delicious dessert combining pumpkin and cream cheese on a soft cake base.

- 1 (18 1/4 oz) package yellow cake mix
- 1 egg
- 2 sticks melted and divided Butter
- 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin
- 1 (8 oz) package softened cream cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and 1 stick of melted butter.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the pumpkin, cream cheese, 3 eggs, vanilla, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the cake layer.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool before serving.

- Serve with whipped cream for extra flavor.
