  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons granulated sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add green beans and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the green beans. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve hot.
