Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract. Mix until combined.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until well blended.
  4. If desired, add red food coloring for a pink swirl effect.
  5. Gently fold in crushed candy canes.
