- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken cubes and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
- Mix in the cooked bowtie pasta and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and pasta is well coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer red pepper flakes.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for leftovers.
