Delicious fried shrimp coated in a spicy honey sauce.

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- Dip shrimp into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mix.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, butter, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Heat until melted and combined.
- Toss fried shrimp in the hot honey sauce.
- Serve immediately.
