Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 6 sausage patties cooked and flattened
- 6 eggs scrambled or fried
- 6 slices American cheese
- Optional: Sharp cheddar cheese, turkey sausage, hot honey
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, egg, melted butter, and maple syrup. Stir until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cook sausage patties and flatten them.
- Scramble or fry eggs.
- Assemble muffins: add sausage, egg, and cheese between two muffins.
Notes
- For a stronger flavor, add sharp cheddar cheese.
- Use turkey sausage for a lighter option.
- Drizzle with hot honey for a sweet-spicy twist.
