- 4 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon sesame seed oil
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil divided
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 green onions diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 5 cups cold, cooked white rice
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pineapple pieces
Instructions
- Heat 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the diced red bell pepper and cook until tender.
- Add the diced ham and cook until heated through.
- Stir in the green onions and garlic, cooking for another minute.
- Add the cold rice to the pan and mix well.
- In a small bowl, whisk the eggs and pour them over the rice mixture.
- Add soy sauce, sesame seed oil, and hot sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add pineapple pieces and mix until heated through.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for best results.
- Adjust hot sauce to your spice preference.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or carrots.
