Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped toasted pecans, divided
  • 1 package devil’s food cake mix (regular size)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar and mix well.
  4. In a greased baking dish, spread the devil’s food cake mix evenly.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix without stirring.
  6. Sprinkle coconut, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
