Description

Delicious crab and shrimp filling wrapped in soft tortillas and fried to perfection.


Ingredients

  • Cooked shrimp – 1/2 lb finely chopped
  • Cooked crab meat – 1/2 lb shredded
  • Shredded Monterey Jack cheese – 1 cup
  • Cream cheese – 1/2 cup softened
  • Queso dip – 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cilantro – 1 tbsp chopped
  • Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Smoked paprika – 1/4 tsp
  • Small flour tortillas – 8
  • Butter or oil – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, queso dip, cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Lay out a small flour tortilla and place a generous amount of the seafood filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  4. Heat butter or oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

  • Feel free to adjust the spice level of the queso dip to your taste.
  • You can bake the rolls instead of frying for a lighter option.
