Description
Delicious crab and shrimp filling wrapped in soft tortillas and fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- Cooked shrimp – 1/2 lb finely chopped
- Cooked crab meat – 1/2 lb shredded
- Shredded Monterey Jack cheese – 1 cup
- Cream cheese – 1/2 cup softened
- Queso dip – 1/2 cup
- Fresh cilantro – 1 tbsp chopped
- Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
- Smoked paprika – 1/4 tsp
- Small flour tortillas – 8
- Butter or oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together chopped shrimp, shredded crab meat, Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, queso dip, cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Lay out a small flour tortilla and place a generous amount of the seafood filling in the center.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- Heat butter or oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down in the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spice level of the queso dip to your taste.
- You can bake the rolls instead of frying for a lighter option.
- These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
