Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb cooked crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup queso dip (mild or spicy)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab, Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, queso dip, cilantro, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  3. Place a tortilla in the pan and fill with the seafood mixture.
  4. Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by choosing a mild or spicy queso dip.
  • Can use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
