Description

A flavorful dish featuring steak and linguine, coated in a rich butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced into thin sticks or coins
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add steak pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and carrots. Sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Stir in butter, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes, and Dijon mustard.
  8. Add cooked linguine and steak back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
