A flavorful chicken and pasta dish with a zesty butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken pieces, season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- In a separate bowl, mix Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, chives, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
- Reduce heat and add butter to the skillet, stirring until melted.
- Combine the sauce mixture with the chicken and broccoli. Stir in the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning based on your spice preference.
- Use more or less butter depending on your taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
